Description A timeless scene of musical collaboration. A group of figures gathers under a gentle light, their simple shapes focused on their instruments and open sheet music. It is a peaceful, intimate moment celebrating companionship and the quiet harmony of shared creativity.

Eng Tay, born in 1947 in Kedah, Malaysia, moved to New York City in 1968 to study graphic design, painting, and printmaking at the Arts Student League, School of Visual Arts, and Pratt Graphics Center. He worked in the graphic arts field until 1978, when he embarked on painting trips to South America and Indonesia, which inspired his artistic subject matter.
