Description “Ember Stride” shows Kenny Chua Kok Hooi’s fascination with capturing movement and spirit rather than fixed form. The horses are painted with loose, flowing strokes that suggest motion more than detail, giving them a presence that feels both fleeting and powerful. They rise out of an atmosphere charged with energy, turning the scene into a vivid impression of vitality and freedom. What comes through is less a portrait of animals than an evocation of life in motion.

Kenny Chua Kok Hooi is an artist whose journey began with a personal passion for painting. What started as a hobby blossomed into a full-time career, driven by his desire to capture the essence and subtle elements of the natural world. A testament to his contributions, he was conferred the Darjah Kebesaran Mahkota Pahang Yang Amat Mulia Peringkat Empat, Ahli Mahkota Pahang award in 2018.
