Description
A momentous and splendid scene centered on the iconic Sultan Abdul Samad Building in Kuala Lumpur is captured in "Gemilang". The majestic Moorish inspired architecture, crowned with its distinctive clock tower and copper domes, stands proudly under a dramatic sky. Surrounding this historic landmark is a teeming, patriotic crowd, their enthusiasm expressed through a sea of Malaysian flags, with a large flag draped prominently in the foreground. The painting brilliantly conveys a powerful sense of national pride and celebration, truly embodying its title as a glorious moment in the heart of the city.
