Beyond Bidding: 2025 — A Year of Purpose, Art & Community at Owner Auction™

As 2025 comes to a close, Owner Auction™ reflects on a year shaped not only by transactions and milestones, but by purpose-driven initiatives that brought communities, partners, and causes together.

This year, we were proud to support two meaningful CSR efforts — the Art for Awareness Charity Auction and the Share-An-Umbrella initiative — each reinforcing our belief that auctions and platforms can be powerful tools for social good.

Art for Awareness: Empowering Young Artists Through Auction

In conjunction with World Autism Awareness Week, Lapan Art Auction, a division of Owner Auction™, collaborated with Hong Leong Bank (HLB) and the National Autism Resource Centre (NARC) to host the Art for Awareness Charity Auction.

The initiative featured 34 original artworks created by talented young artists from NARC — many of which were also showcased in HLB’s Corporate Calendars 2024 and 2025.

Prior to the auction, the artworks were exhibited at the NCM Co. Auction Hall, which also serves as a public art gallery, welcoming visitors to view and appreciate the collection from 17 March to 11 April 2025. The live auction on 12 April 2025, conducted both onsite and online via Owner Auction™, achieved a 100% sale success.

The auction raised a total of RM23,064.00. Importantly, 100% of the proceeds were returned directly to 31 NARC artists, supporting their artistic development, confidence, and independence.

Share-An-Umbrella: A Simple Gesture, A Meaningful Impact

Towards the end of the year, Owner Auction™, together with NCM Co, launched the Share-An-Umbrella initiative — a simple yet heartfelt CSR effort inspired by the rainy season.

Through this initiative, umbrellas were made available for anyone caught in the rain, reinforcing values of kindness, care, sharing and community support. The program serves as a reminder that social responsibility does not always require grand gestures — sometimes, small acts of thoughtfulness can make the biggest difference.

Owner Auction™ is essentially a solution offered to property owners to dispose their property via public auction, whereas Bank Auction is conducted when the property has been foreclosed on and repossessed by the bank or the High Court, usually due to the owner’s / borrower’s inability to settle the outstanding payments on the property.
We have a proven track record of efficiently facilitating the property sale via the modern way of auction by offering a one-stop solution, including marketing, legal and administrative services.
Upon our appointment through a prescribed letter of appointment and receipt of all necessary documents in relation to your property, we will proceed to market and advertise your property. We will also arrange to fix as many auction rounds as we are able to within the validity period stated in the prescribed letter of appointment with an objective to sell your property via auction sale. At present, our licensed auctioneer will conduct the auction once every 3 weeks.
