Jelajah Harta Tanah Malaysia 2026 Attracts 819 bidders for Property and Car Public Auction Sales

KUALA LUMPUR, 3 August 2026 – The second edition of Jelajah Harta Tanah Malaysia 2026, organised by NCM Co together with co-organiser Owner Auction™, concluded successfully after two days of auctions, cultural performances and community engagement, recording a record total sales value of RM58.70 million across property, automotive and art auctions.

Held on 28 and 29 July 2026 at Megan Avenue 2, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, the carnival welcomed more than 300 attendees and attracted 819 registered bidders, with almost 80% bidders bidding remotely online. The encouraging response reflects growing public awareness and confidence in NCM Co’s public auction event as a transparent, accessible and market-driven platform for acquiring quality assets.

The event was conducted as a Hybrid Auction, enabling participation both onsite and online. More than 80% of the registered bidders participated remotely from across Malaysia, demonstrating the growing adoption of digital auction platforms and NCM Co's commitment to making auctions more accessible while expanding market reach beyond geographical boundaries.

Throughout the two-day hybrid carnival, over 900 property lots and 300 vehicle lots were put up for public auction. Notices were advertised on mainstream newspapers and the company’s website weeks prior to the auction.

The event delivered outstandingauction results across both the property and automotive segments. A luxury residential property in Pavillion Residence KL was successfully sold for RM3.7 million, surpassing its RM3.4 million reserve price, while a high-performance sports car upbid to RM471,000 from RM360,000 reserve price—an increase of more than 30%. These results reflect the effectiveness of NCM Co’s auction platform in generating strong market interest, encouraging competitive bidding, and helping sellers achieve market-driven prices.

Supported by 14 participating financial institutions, the event showcased a wide range of bank auction properties and repossessed vehicles while connecting prospective buyers with participating banks for financing enquiries, reinforcing the collaborative effort between financial institutions and the auction industry.

True to the spirit of Jelajah Harta Tanah Malaysia, the carnival offered much more than auctions. Visitors enjoyed the vibrant sounds of the University of Malaya Lion Dance Troupe's 24 Festive Drums, traditional cultural dance performances, authentic Malaysian food and beverage vendors, as well as batik exhibitors representing various states across the country. Hundreds of property and car upcoming auction listings were also being displayed and offered to the attendees.

Owner Auction™ is essentially a solution offered to property owners to dispose their property via public auction, whereas Bank Auction is conducted when the property has been foreclosed on and repossessed by the bank or the High Court, usually due to the owner’s / borrower’s inability to settle the outstanding payments on the property.
