Awi Aziz, a self-taught Malaysian artist, has gained recognition for his unique oil painting style. Inspired by his life experiences, he creates vibrant and expressive works that have been appreciated by collectors from Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Middle East and Europe. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including the Pameran Seni Lukis Pesta Pulau Pinang (1982, 1983, 1998, 1999) and the Zhong Hua Art House Exhibition (1997). He has also showcased his work in prestigious events like the Serenity Melaka (2000), Art On Plus (2000), Malaysia-Indonesia Art Fiesta (2001), and the Adeputra Art Projects HUKM (Art Therapy) Exhibition (2002).
