2 Days • 1 Night | Frasers Hill, Pahang |
Wyndham Garden Shahzan Hotel
Escape to the highlands. Leave the hustle and bustle of the city life behind. Journey into the cool, misty highlands of Fraser’s Hill, where tranquil surroundings, montane forests and unique biodiversity await. Over two immersive days, discover the natural wonders of this unique landscape through guided nature experiences, while gaining a rare insight into WWF-Malaysia’s conservation work.
Fraser's Hill is home to more than 250 recorded bird species, including 5 out of the 6 species endemic to the Malay Peninsula (which includes southern Thailand and Myanmar). Its rich biodiversity extends to over 1,500 flora species, including a remarkable 337 species endemic to Peninsular Malaysia.
The biodiversity hotspot offers birdwatchers a chance to spot the Silver-eared Mesia, often considered as the unofficial mascot of Fraser's hill, as well as other species found only in high-elevation forests such as the Malayan Partridge , Blue Nuthatch and many more. Whether you are an avid birder or nature enthusiast, Fraser's Hill promises an unforgettable adventure.
As part of this unique experience, bid for an opportunity to secure an exclusive visit to the Indigenous Semai community village in Raub, Pahang. There, witness firsthand how the community safeguards the Rafflesia, the world's largest flower, and learn about the connection of the iconic flower, only found in South East Asia to their cultural heritage and traditional beliefs.
