Description
This striking abstract work plunges the viewer into a dense, mysterious world. The composition is a vibrant rush of dynamic motion, suggesting the hidden, untamed energy of a deep, secluded environment.
At the center, a luminous sphere glows, acting as a focal point for the surrounding expressive textures. The entire surface, including the active border, pulses with a celebratory rhythm, evoking the powerful, joyful spirit of a lively gathering under a night sky.
Ismail Latiff is a Malaysian artist who has been exhibiting internationally since 1977. He graduated with a Diploma in Art and Design from Mara Institute of Technology, Selangor in 1979 and received the Frank Sullivan Award, Salon Malaysia at National Art Gallery, Kuala Lumpur in the same year. With a prolific career spanning over four decades, he has held numerous solo and group exhibitions, including his first solo show in Kuala Lumpur in 1984 and subsequent exhibitions in 1993, 2005, 2008, and 2012.
